Days out at farms are an enjoyable and educational experience for many people. However, animals can carry a number of infections that may be harmful to people, especially children and pregnant women.
If you are planning a trip to a farm please visit the PHE website for more information about ways people can keep themselves and family healthy during farm visits. There are also a number of resources
available for educators through Access to Farms which has a specific section for teachers.
Healthy Relationships - KS2, KS3 & KS4 toolkits of resources
Warrington Borough Council's Public Health Team have created four 'Healthy Relationship' educational toolkits for staff working with both primary and secondary school children.

Different types of relationships
How can a relationship be unhealthy
Handling feeling and emotions
Readiness for sex
Contraception & pregnancy
Managing unwanted attention
Dangers of social media – sexting, live streaming, pornography
Plus many more!
To view/download the toolkits, please visit the My School Services 'Resources' tab and search 'Healthy Relationship Toolkits'.
Public Health will be running a workshop on Tuesday 5th June 2018 at New Town House (4pm-5.30pm). Aims of the workshop include:
Support staff to deliver relevant ‘relationship’ topics/messages confidently with your service users/school pupils
Raise awareness of current issues within ‘relationships’ which need to be addressed across young people
Promote the most up to date guidance and resources
